Part of a crew of pirates who were cursed to turn into animals, Cassim spent some years of his life as a strange hybrid of a human and various oriental animals, before realizing that actually, he enjoyed this form. His adventuring partner and later husband, Tibbalt, also appreciates the feline features. The two of them followed in the footsteps of Tibbalt's parents as the dukes of Tibbalt's home town, a beautiful mediterranean pearl of a city, and are living out their lives as wealthy, overlevelled ex-adventurers with too much time on their hands...
