Joyceste at Strixhaven
I am, very tentatively, calling this piece finished. I'm not 100% done with it and there are areas I'd like to spend more time on, but it's important to keep in mind that the goal is a cool finished product and not a satisfied perfectionist. I've put all my heart into this and really wanted it to turn out as well as the Mouse one did, and I think I succeeded pretty well. A worthy portrayal for my baby wizard and a badass proxy commander for my favorite deck. I should celebrate :D
The background is a homage to one of my favorite card illustrations of all time, Shock by Dominik Mayer.

Winning the Pot
If you start your turn and the cards on the table are still the ones you played during your previous turn, this means that all opponents were either unable or unwilling to respond to your play. When this happens, you win the trick and collect all the coins in the pot. Afterward, the table is cleared and you take your turn normally.
